○ This is considered a national park, and you'll need to pay a small fee to hike around it each day. It's worth it because the ticket also lets you ride the trains as often as you like within the park.
○ Whether you stay in the villages or explore the trails, you'll need sun protection. You are right next to the sea, after all! It seems that rain can come from nowhere, too, so a little raincoat might come in handy.
○ The trails are tough - don't expect a leisurely stroll in sandals. Though the villages might seem close to each other, when you have to climb steep and sharp rocks, you'll soon realize that it will take you a full day to go from one end of the park to the other.
○ Get off the main streets a little to see what life is like in the village. The popular places are definitely beautiful, just don't neglect the quieter spots.
